Born in Italy, and from a background of ballet and sports, in 2002 I ve met Nana Alves and Vielka Chú, two teachers that have been a deep inspiration and support for my artistic life.

Since then I ve been learning and training my circus skills in different places ;¨La Tarumba¨ Peru, ¨ESAC¨ Belgium, ¨Escuela de Circo CARAMPA¨ Spain,"Ecole Leotard" Canada.

Finally in 2005 I joined The Conservatoire for Dance and Drama at The Circus Space in London where  I ve got a BA (Hons) Degree in Contemporary Circus Arts and where during three years I specialized in tight wire and explored new possibilities in aerial works.

In the last years I ve been performing in shows of contemporary circus and dance in Europe and Latin America even though for 2010 and 2011, my focus is to develop my own pieces researching the quality of movement between circus apparatus, dance and phisycal theatre.

I am particulary interested to esxpress myself trough the body, talking about human feelings, sensations and experiences of life that are what we are made off as human beings.

I try to talk about different themes, about what we like and what we don´t , exploring spaces , forms, images, materials, objects and everything that can be explored to build a concept.

My main form to exteriorize what I create is trough contemporary circus because is what I m passionate for and it allows to combine a variety of disciplines that are in my opinion the perfect match for my pieces.

As an artist I collaborate with other contemporary circus companies in Europe and I m co-founder and Artistic Director of the experimental circus Company  LA TRIBU Performance for who I have recently directed the 60 minutes contemporary circus piece EL SOFÁ, the 45 minutes piece SOLO POR 1 DÍA, the 40 minutes piece COROTUYO, especially developed on a big tree, and the 20 minutes piece solo “RAPSODIA 1 and ¾” which I ve performed in the Circus/Dance event TRIPTICO in Costa Rica.

My aim for the future is to keep creating, practicing, performing and directing my own pieces as well in collaboration with other artists that can extend my knowledge and from who I can get to see other visions of art and its concepts.
